  1. How do I register for the 2020 Meeting?

  2. I am missing CE codes or CE certificates....what can I do?

  3. I have questions about my registration from prior meetings attended...who should I call?
    Call the Hinman registration service, QMS, at (866) 248-2883.
  4. What is the guest policy?
    Any guests, who are not dental guest or auxiliary guests, pay a $75 registration fee. Registering enables guests to visit the exhibit hall and to buy tickets for courses or special events. Continuing Education credits will not be provided for any guest categories.
  5. What are 2020 onsite registration hours? Wednesday, 3/18 1 - 5 p.m., Thursday, 3/19 & Friday, 3/20 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday, 3/21 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Onsite Registration is located in the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) A Building, Main Entrance
  6. What is the cancellation policy for the 2020 meeting?
    Attendee cancellation requests must be postmarked by Wednesday, March 18, 2020. No refunds will be made for cancellations requested after registration opens on the first day of the meeting, which is Thursday, March 19, 2020. In order for the refund request to be considered, the information must include the attendee’s name and address in writing, the original registration badge and course summary listing. All requests must be postmarked by March 18, 2020 and mailed to: The Thomas P.   9. Do I need to register for all of my courses and events (even the free courses)? Yes, pre-registration is required to attend any Hinman course or special event. 
  10. How do CE credits work? How do I know the number of hours I earn for each course?
    Hinman offers one hour of credit for each hour of lecture, unless otherwise indicated in the course description. Computerized CE certificates can be printed out at the conclusion of each course, at the end of the meeting or from any computer with Internet access after the meeting. 
  11. If a course is repeated, will it be the same material?
    Yes, anytime a course is repeated, it will be the same material.

  15. What are the future dates of the Hinman Dental Meeting?

  16. Does Hinman have coat, bag and stroller check during the meeting? Yes, for $3 per item. Visit the GWCC, Building A, Level 300 (across from room A314).
  17. Does Hinman offer free WiFi? Yes! Complimentary WiFi will be available in GWCC course rooms as well as the Exhibit Hall, courtesy of Hinman Housing Powered by Eventsphere. 
  18. Does Hinman have a private space for nursing mothers? Mamava pods are located in the Georgia World Congress Center in Building A, Level 4 and Building B, Level 4. Mamava offers the combination of a freestanding lactation pod and a mobile app designed for on-the-go moms. The lactation suites are the perfect solution for busy public spaces such as convention centers. The self-contained, mobile pod includes comfortable benches, a fold-down table, an electrical outlet for plugging in a breast pump, and a door with a lock for privacy. These pods can be located and unlocked by utilizing the free user-friendly Mamava app and proprietary Bluetooth-enabled SmartLock. The Mamava app is available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
  19. What do the badge colors represent? Blue – Dentists (all categories including students and retired), Red - Exhibitors, Green – Hygienists, Purple – Assistants, Gold – Office Staff, Brown – Lab Technicians, Black – Spouses, Student categories except for dental students, staff, guests, media, children and youth.
  20. Does Hinman help with disability-related accommodations? In compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act, we will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate persons with disabilities at the Meeting.
