Let’s examine the crown appointment from start to finish and develop an outline to maximize efficiency and predictability utilizing a single visit digital workflow! We will discuss prep, design, material selection, material processing and bonding techniques to ensure an excellent crown result. Evaluate proper imaging technique, ideal prep for crowns and onlays, software design recipes and tools and best practices for polishing and stain/glaze.

Restoring implants digitally requires skills in several areas. This course will outline the steps for proper scan body selection and imaging for single and multi-unit implant cases. Chairside workflows for screw retained or cemented crown restorations will be described. Learn 3rd party workflows for outsourcing abutment design and manufacture as well as new scan bodies and techniques for full arch restoration. We will analyze proper abutment contours and materials for long term success.

3D printing is an essential part of the digital dentistry manufacturing process. Participants of this course will learn to fabricate a solid model from an optical scan and models with removable dies and implant analogs. Designing and manufacturing flat plane splints as well as single and multi-site surgical guides will be demonstrated along with the steps to design and print provisional restorations.
