Dr. Jane Puskas Receives The Gold Award
The Gold Life Award Membership is conferred by the Hinman Dental Society to selected members, who by at least 25 years of continuous membership in the Society and exemplary past service on behalf of the Meeting, have been determined to be deserving of this high honor. Candidates for the Gold Award are nominated by the President of the Hinman Dental Society and the General Chair of the Meeting. The candidate is approved by both the Advisory Committee and the Executive Council.
The Gold Award was awarded to Dr. Jane Puskas in recognition of 39 years in the practice of dentistry, serving her patients with excellence and contributing immeasurably to the image of the profession. The Hinman Dental Society appreciates her many outstanding and valuable contributions to the Society, The Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting and organized dentistry.
Hinman Team at the Dental Dash at Dawn (DDD) Fun Run
The Hinman team had a blast at the Dental Dash at Dawn 5k in November 2025. Notably, members Artie Ricaud and Wayne Kerr were the 2nd and 3rd place winners in their age groups. Great running Artie an Wayne! Hinman staff Lynn Leidel, Wendy McGar and Stephanie Park were in attendance as well as John Uetski, Jay Shirley and prospective member, Caroline Glessner. The Dental Dash at Dawn foundation raised $50,000 to support their mission of providing dental care to developmentally-disabled patients.

Landmark Membership Achievements Recognized at the 2025 Membership Meeting
For years, the leadership of the Hinman Dental Society has honored those members who have maintained their membership for 30 years, 40 years and 50 years with specialized achievement pin medals.
The Society also has the privilege of recognizing two members who have maintained their membership for 60 years. They each received a $1,000 scholarship to gift to the dental school or organization of their choice. The significance of these recognitions is to formally thank and give distinction to those who have worked for many years to maintain and enhance the excellent reputation of the Hinman Dental Society and the Hinman Dental Meeting.
