A Message from Society President Allen French

This past November, Nancy and I were proud to represent our Society at the 14th annual Hinman Student Research Symposium, hosted by the University Of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis. Over 90 dental students from around the country presented their research projects in a competition sponsored by your Hinman Dental Society. We should all be very proud that our Society is committed to providing financial support for academic excellence.
Our November Membership Meeting was a great success. Dr. Terry Tanaka was well received by over 200 members as he discussed the relationship between esthetics and occlusion. I would like to thank Dr. Sherry Jordan (program chair) and Drs. Ginger Kirkland, Roy McDonald and Jeremy Ward (hospitality chairmen) for their hard work in making this a delightful educational experience at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead.
