The Hinman Dental Society, a non-profit organization, is comprised of more than 750 member dentists primarily located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 1911 by Thomas P. Hinman, the Society is dedicated to the advancement of its membership through outstanding educational and professional development opportunities, as well as promoting the high practice standards of the field of dentistry through public advocacy and outreach.

A Message from Society President Brian Carpenter
I am truly honored and humbled to serve as your President. It is a privilege to serve an organization so rich in tradition and high standards. As your President, I feel it is important to encourage and uphold these ideals. I am excited to report that the Society is busy establishing many exciting changes for all of you this year; the new Hinman brand, the planning of the 100-year Hinman Anniversary and a change of venue for our Society meetings, just to mention a few. Hopefully by now you have received notice that we have moved the traditional Society membership meetings from the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, to the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. I am looking forward to this change in venue that will give us a beautiful facility, as well as an outdoor garden area to enjoy for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Society Program Chairman, William Rousseau, has been hard at work putting together an outstanding array of speakers. I hope to see you at the Intercontinental.
