The scientific evidence indicates that an inadequate coronal restoration may be the primary reason why endodontically treated teeth fail. The current state of treatment procedures performed in private practice will be reviewed with recommendations made for workflow modifications essential for improving restorative outcomes of endodontically treated teeth. Step-by-step protocols for core and post placement and essential tooth preparation techniques will be visualized with HD video obtained with a dental microscope. New workflows will be presented integrating endodontic therapy with chairside scanning and milling for greater efficiency and profitability.
