TMD cases can be confusing to diagnose and tricky to treat. This course is designed to simplify TMD cases into categories that will lead to more strategic and successful treatment decisions. At the end of this course, participants will be able to understand and implement a stepwise TMJ evaluation, identify joint vs muscle-related TMD issues, identify leading causes of TMD signs and symptoms, manage acute TMD emergencies, work through a decision tree to properly select occlusal guard design and material and develop combination treatment modalities for TMD management.
