Provisional restorations need to both look and feel great to the patient! This hands-on course delivers a stepwise approach to creating predictable, functional restorations. Participants will come to understand the importance of provisional occlusion and the relationship of the provisional to periodontium. We will review the armamentarium necessary to fabricate quality provisionals and the appropriate cements for different needs, and we will troubleshoot common issues such as perforations and short margins. This course is designed for dental assistants, dental students and new dentists.
