With the new laws on medical ethics and sexual harassment awareness training, we need to understand how our practices may be affected and the penalties for non-compliance. We will discuss professional boundaries and unprofessional conduct relating to acts of sexual intimacy, abuse, misconduct or exploitation with regard to the practice of dentistry. Then we will evaluate the appropriate measures to deal with legal or investigative matters.
